Volunteers who have gone on trips with Kindness In Action have been known to give presentations at schools in their home towns. By sharing experiences and photographs they hope to elevate the awareness in the children as to what can be done by donating one's time, care, skill and judgement. It opens the students' eyes to the fact that it's a big world out there, that others aren't as fortunate as them, and that an individual can do something to help others not as well off.

Often, after the talk, KIA arranges for the collection of donated school supplies at the end of the academic year in June. Lots of supplies that used to be thrown in the garbage are now recycled and taken with KIA brigades for distribution at our various destinations.
